Siri’s Hope: Urgent Care Needed for a Rescued Puppy

Update Coming SOON! URGENT: An animal welfare crisis in Greece has left thousands of dogs in dire need. In late 2023, Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site began assisting local groups in Xanthi, Greece, to rescue and care for over 600 sick and starving animals living in a municipal rubbish site. Unfortunately, the number of homeless dogs in the region is staggering, reaching into the thousands.

Your support is crucial to save lives. Together, we have provided food, specialist medical care, and funded high-quality spay-neuter services to help reduce the dog population. Siri was born at the dump and is the only survivor of her litter. This little pup was found covered in ticks and fleas next to her deceased siblings. She suffers from severe malnutrition and is missing fur due to mange. Having never known a full belly, Siri has endured immense heartbreak in her short life, and she needs our help to thrive.
