In the heart of Ukraine, tens of thousands of pets have been left abandoned, caught in the turmoil of conflict without food or shelter. Meet Lion, a resilient soul rescued by military personnel in the Donetsk region. This mixed-breed dog endured life as a stray, suffering from painful gingivitis, matted fur, and severe flea dermatitis.
Thanks to the compassionate efforts of Greater Good Charities, Lion is receiving the medical attention he desperately needs, including antibiotics for his inflamed gums and treatments for his flea allergy. Now, Lion is waiting for a loving family at the Patron Pet Center (PPC), a facility established in the summer of 2023 to provide refuge for pets affected by the ongoing war.
As the conflict continues without a clear resolution, PPC is in urgent need of support to rescue more orphaned pets like Lion. Your contribution can make a significant impact. Help us raise $5,000 to provide essential care for Lion and other pets in need.
