Mavis, a sweet two-year-old domestic shorthair, was surrendered to a nearby shelter after a brutal dog attack left her with severe injuries. For over a week, her wounds went untreated, resulting in deep tissue infections.
Mavis underwent emergency surgery to remove necrotic tissue and drain her infected abdomen. Unfortunately, once in foster care, she chewed her front leg to the bone, requiring amputation. With physical therapy, Mavis will learn to adapt to life on three legs as she awaits her forever home.
Your donations will help cover the costs of her surgery, medications, and ongoing care, with a goal of raising $4,000 for Mavis and pets like her. Together, we can make a difference and help these animals find the love they deserve.
