Donkeys in western Tanzania need your urgent support to receive essential veterinary care. Many of these hardworking animals face grueling labor, leading to serious injuries that often go untreated. Sadly, without adequate animal welfare regulations, these donkeys are frequently abandoned or worse when they can no longer work due to illness or injury.
In partnership with the Tanzania Animals Protection Organization (TAPO), Greater Good Charities is dedicated to providing immediate care for over 50 donkeys suffering from untreated wounds, respiratory infections, and parasites. Beyond addressing their immediate health needs, TAPO also focuses on educating local communities about effective donkey care to ensure these animals lead healthier, happier lives.
